IRON Solutions Releases New Features for Enterprise xSellerator™

Release date: 11/7/2011

Enterprise xSellerator v2011.8 Released on November 5, 2011 with JD Config Integration

(Franklin, Tennessee – November 7, 2011)  John Deere dealers can now add items from the John Deere Configurator to Inventory in Enterprise xSellerator for presale. Users can quickly and easily setup the most common configurations in inventory for Quick Quoting.

Previous to this release, xSellerator users who wanted to create a quote for a new unit that has yet to be ordered, had to either select an already imported unit or create a new .xml file and customize it, adding codes, other costs, alternate configurations, etc. They had no option to save and re-use common configurations when quoting yet-to-be-ordered units that do not exist on the lot. This latest release enables dealers to quickly quote a unit in inventory and prepare for presale earlier in the selling process.

John Deere dealers demanded a way to save commonly quoted configurations for pre-order. This repetitive process takes time, is error prone, and inhibits management from driving specific desired new configurations through the sales force.

In xSellerator v2011.8 released on November 5, 2011 users can create a customized unit in JD Config and add it to inventory in xSellerator. “This has value to the dealer enterprise on multiple levels,” says Scott Derksen, CIO of IRON Solutions, “enabling time savings in the quoting process, reducing error, and empowering management to push certain configurations through the sales force - particularly for pre-sale situations.”

“Desired configurations can be saved, quoted and pre-sold from inventory prior to availability on the lot and that’s important to us.”  Boyd Hoffman, Sales Manager, Jay Dee Ag Tech.

Derksen adds, “We heard from John Deere dealers that improving this process would save them valuable time and money lost on errors from manual intervention. Most CRM systems do not integrate with John Deere’s configurator product and xSellerator is truly the exception. We listened to their feedback, developed a solution and are releasing this in the next update release. We are excited to offer this solution to our valued John Deere customers for seamless, quick and accurate quoting.”
