IRON Solutions Releases New Features for IRON HQ
Release date: 11/7/2011
Version 2011.8 of IRON HQ Released on November 5, 2011
(Franklin, Tennessee – November 7, 2011) IRON HQ users will be excited about the most recent release. In version 2011.8 of IRON HQ, released on November 5, 2011, equipment appraisals can be added to a customer’s equipment list. This functionality enables the attachment of any trade appraisal to the customer record and helps connect buyers and sellers.
Previously, there was no easy option to attach an appraisal to the customer record in IRON HQ. Instead, the appraised unit had to exist as a traded unit, when it may not have been traded at all. In v2011.8, IRON HQ dealers will have the option of appraising customers’ equipment and having this appraisal exist in the customer profile. This introduces powerful knowledge about the customer’s inventory and opens new opportunities for sales and service.
Scott Derksen, IRON Solutions’ CIO says, “Consider the potential in knowing what equipment your prospects and customers have on their fields; of any type, make or model, and the ability to search that equipment when a prospect has an interest in a particular model. Knowing what equipment exists in the field can lead to a chain reaction of sales. Imagine a scenario where a prospect for, used unit walks in the door and the unit wanted isn’t available on your lot. You then search your customer’s inventory and find three in the field. Calling those three customers, knowing you have a potential buyer for their trade, can stimulate a three way transaction – a trade up from the desired unit to new, a trade in available, and walk-in prospect looking for something you didn’t even have. At IRON, this is what we think of when we talk about managing the customer AND equipment lifecycle. To be successful in today’s market, dealers need to not only know THEIR inventory but what also their CUSTOMER’S inventory.”
